Sen. Hagan submits recommendations for federal posts

I know this is old news already, but Senator Kay Hagan recently submitted her recommendations for federal posts. Her recommendations include Judge Catherine Eagles, Anita Earls and Judge Edwin Wilson in the Middle District, which includes Greensboro.

Potential U.S. Attorney nominees include Judge Ripley Rand, Lee Farmer and Judge Susan Taylor in the Middle District, which includes Greensboro.

North Carolina Supreme Court Adopts Appellate Procedure (with Amendments)

This past week, the North Carolina Supreme Court re-adopted the Rules of Appellate Procedure with amendments. This revision is the first comprehensive review and re-issuance since their adoption in 1975.

The rules are effective for appeals filed on or after October 1, 2009.
