On February 2, 2011, Gov. Beverly Perdue appointed James L. “Jim” Gale as a Special Superior Court Judge. Chief Justice Sarah Parker plans to designate Gale as a Special Superior Court Judge for Complex Business Cases, replacing Judge Ben Tennille, who retires March 1.
Mr. Gale will be sworn in at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1 in the courtroom of the North Carolina Business Court-Greensboro.
