KICK-OFF CEREMONY + LUNCH!
September 15 at Noon
All GBA members and their families are invited to the ceremony and lunch. This will be a great occasion for us to celebrate the start of another GBA Habitat house, to meet the home owner family, and to thank the members of the Supreme Court who are present to support us. Everyone will have a chance to drive a nail and sign your name on the framing for the house.
Ceremony starts at 12:00 on the 15th followed by the lunch. House address is 2127 McConnell Road next to the Mt Olivet AME Zion ChurchRain or shine since we have the use of the church's fellowship hall. Cover charge is $10/head, payable at the door (checks should be made out the GBA Foundation). No charge or need for RSVP from the work crews. BBQ chicken to be served.
Directions: From its intersection with US 29, take E. Lee east (towards Interstate). Turn left on English St.; then next left on McConnell Rd. Church and house site are on right. Park in church parking lot. GPS users - use address for church (2123 McConnell Rd).
